Problem when start up
When I start up my 964 C2, cold engine, it hesitates, and will not start unless I give it speed. And I have to hold speed for a whilr so it will stay on.
I have seen others fires up the engine without giving any speed and it goes direct to idle. I wonder what I can do to sort this out? Any suggestions of what is wrong? Very happy for answers! Olav Hildeskor |

Fuel filter? Have you tried swapping out DME relay? Air filter? Have you tried cleaning the idle control valve? Do you have a stock or aftermarket chip? Normal or lightweight flywheel? Maybe have your mechanic do an idle adaptation with the Hammer? Battery healthy? Alternator maybe not working well at idle and requires revs to get working?

First port of call for me would be the DME relay.
