HI--
I've been doing some online research but am having difficulty answering what I think is a simple question. I recently upgraded my '95 Carrera's head unit to the Blaupunkt Bremen and while at it I replaced the four main speakers. The sound is fine enough for Sirius radio, but I wouldn't mind some more bass. My car has the regular stereo option and no amplifier under the passenger seat. I'd like to add a subwoofer under the passenger seat and don't see any reason why I couldn't. The Bremen has outputs for one, but I believe I'd need a preamp along with the powered subwoofer. If you've done this or can direct me to how I can do it myself I'd appreciate it. Crutchfield was super helpful with the speaker installs and I'll reach out to then too, but I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in doing this. Thanks ahead of time and happy new year! |

There are several subwoofers that will fit under the seat which include built in amplifiers, crutchfield should be above to provide all the information you’ll need to add it.
