Better yet, please post a photo of them. I'd love to unload my wheels, but I don't know what Cup wheels look like.

Cup wheels are the original factory 17 inch wheels that most 993s came with. Some people don't like them, others do. I like them more than any of the twisted pinwheel designs.

One advantage that the twisties do have is the ability to pump air over hot rotors. Every little bit helps.

I've gotta agree that the twisties are ugly though.

Hi Max,
I have a set of 18" Cup wheels with Bridgestone tires mounted and balanced for sale in this board's 911 classified parts. They are in great shape and the tires have only 50-100 miles wear before they were taken off the 1996 993 which they were delivered with. The only factor that would need consideration is the added weight of 18" versus 17" if the car you will be using them on doesn't come with the heavy duty shocks and springs. The ride will be quite harsh over bumps.

Max,

I'll have to clean the back side bearing the stamps before I can take digital photos for posting. They look exactly like the cup wheels you posted with photoshop except the finish is chrome (mirror). Looks pretty nice. I'll get them posted on saturday afternoon. The tires are new Bridgestone S02 in 225/40/ZR18 and 265/35ZR18 (worth $1000).

I thought those were Cup IIs? They are nice but I prefer the Cup 1s.

you are correct. when Richard asked about Cup wheels for his 993 i automatically thought of the 993 cup wheel (often referred to as Cup II )
here are the 964 cup wheels (Cup I ) :

DVC, I have images of my wheels, according to the knowledgeable ones they are Cup II 18 inchers. Now only if someone can tell me how to posts them on this thread, would really appreciate that.
