headers/EGR question
I am considering installing headers and megaphones my 1977 911s. Prior to my ownership of the car, the thermal reactors were removed and heat exchangers were installed. My question is, how do I get rid of the EGR system that is currently bolted into the muffler (dual inlet, single outlet). I can’t see exactly where the pipe goes into the engine, but it's must be putting exhaust gasses back into the combustion chambers.
Is it even possible to remove this system? Please help. Thanks Nikita
