Triptronic to G50 conversion
Is it possible to convert a 964 triptronic to a G50. My guess would be yes but the following items would need conversion.
Transmission of course Speedometer Gear shift with linkage maybe the bezel around the shifter But what about the DME |

not sure of the electronic logistics of the swap; but see missingfrom the list:

The tip wiring harness doesn't have the same provision for activating the back up lights.

At one point, I looked at a 964 with a 5sp. I noticed the car had a OBC. I mentioned to the seller that it was rare to see a OBC on a manual trans car. He said it was because the car was a TIP originally. The conversion was not that difficult, according to him. All bolt-in...
