1. Aunt story sounds fishy, but I'm not sure if it matters.
2. How sure is your mechanic that code wil be no more than $6500?
3. Need a PPI on rest of the car.
4. How much does the seller want? Widebodies are rare, but don't get carried away unless you're *really* into widebodies.

Oh yes there is/was a $$ aunt ,she won't bail him out of this deal/ he is very young /widebodies /thats what got me started/ curent P is 83 Targa SC,shop is trustworthy and she will look out for me. Windowsticker with car has note 1 of 498 for 1994. It's worth looking into if I can get the numbers I want.

Well I must learn to follow my gut and the advice so often mentioned by everyone..if it sounds to easy....there will be skeletons / I have a solution and if the current PO has not come up with the same / there will be the proverbial hitch. But the hunt is fun. That's how I got my Targa at such a great price.

Well he managed to get someone else to help him out, no clear title on his end, so it will be repaired and he will surely do something else shortly, meantime I will enjoy my SC, and keep looking.I have one,2 would be better,3 oh I need a Doctor.
