no, but I have these:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Eagle+F1+GS-D3 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's At least there's some Porsche driver reviews on them, unlike the BFG's! Same (or better) review ratings. Oh, and they look nicer too! ![]() ![]()

You can't go wrong with stock pads. Unless you're racing or have some special use, go with stock pads.
Yes, the fluid should be flushed completely every two years, per the factory. Most people flush it more often than that. |

Well, there are certainly wide opinions on this subject. My advise is replace the brake pads with OEM. Low dust, and such claims may tempt you, but I believe they will wear away your disc faster. If there were better choices, I expect Porsche would have gone that route. The same with brake fluid. Yes, do replace it every two years - but stick with ate fluid. The synthetics had me for a while but again there are good reasons why Porsche uses dot 4. A synthetic fluid will compress more for a start. You will feel it as a spongy, soft pedal. In my opinion, don't go there.

I have used the Metal Masters for the last few years. The stock pads squeeled at the final few feet of stopping, since switching to these pads, no more embarassing squeel. Same amount or maybe a litle bit less of the dust. Braking is improved, but that may be from the switch to ATE Blue brake fluid too. I think Pelican sells the Metal Masters.
I use the car at about 4 to 5 track days a year, so I end up replacing the pads more often than a non-tracked car. Only had to replace the rotors once, and I have 110,000 miles. Ed '92 C2 Cab |

Good for you Ed,
I have replaced rotors with less than 40000 miles, because of such pads. James |

I think dot 5 synthetic fluid is NOT recommended. A lot of people like ATE fluid. You can alternate between the gold and the blue. It makes it real obvious when you've flushed out the old fluid.
