Unhappy Car just died :(

Ok guys im new to the Porsche world. Was out yesterday driving my 91 964T
still have about 3/8 tank of gas, was running great. Had the 60K just done.
Went from 2nd to 3rd nice and heavy on gas turbo working fine, came to light down shifted and car died. Would not restart. It would crank but no fire.
took about 10 mins for it to start to pop and then it started. drove it home it quite 1 last time on my street but i sat and waited and it fired again and i got
it in the garage. Can they flood on down shifting? I have never had this with car before. Only had it about 3 months. Still learning about it.

I'm no expert but it could be the DME relay. I understnad it's a relatively inexpensive part and a ggo place to start checking out the problem.

Boost switch - (aka fuel pump cut off)

DME relay....it's the fuel pump power source also. Make sure to get the new version...starts with #993... ... ...
This is a common problem. Good Luck.
