Possible El-cheepo crash repair?
Hi all,
I am looking at buying a 964. On this particular example everything checks out OK other than the fact that the front bumper is fibreglass instead of the original plastic type. I take it the repairer elected to use a F/G unit to cut costs? What are your thoughts? Is this indicative of a "cut price" repair job?

Victor,
I don't think I can answer that. Find a shop that you trust and have them give the car a thorough inspection. What are the miles on the car, service records, number of previous owners. etc. Can you locate the shop that did the front end change? What does the previous owner have to say? Good luck Larry

The car sold to another buyer. Probably a good thing as I had a funny feeling about it. Back on the hunt now....
