Porsche Crest 1988 Dp 935

Can I get some opinions on a 1988 DP 935 with the non-turbo 3.2 and 14K Miles. Is 50K a fair price for this vehicle? It is like new condition with the interior upgrade.

I remember seeing this page a couple of years ago. I thought he was way high then and who knows if he deal. If you plan on driving it, why pay the extra bucks for a low mileage car. It's still going to need the 30k service just for peace of mind if you get it. All the rubber is 17 years old.

As a comparison, I passed on a 1988 DP Convertible with a shade over 50k on it. I had it line up for $28k, but after the PPI I had it down to $23500. Sadly my wife put the kabosh on the deal saying that I couldn't trust this guy. The listing had the car as museum quality and the PPI told me a different story. Most of the things were minor, but they add up quick on a Porsche.

I ended up in a 964 Targa. The only thing I regret is not waiting for a cab as I really miss the total topless feeling. I had a 944S2 Cab that I traded in on my 964.

50k for a 3.2 targa with a body kit and interior that screams 1980s' ... IMO money is better spent elsewhere

wayne 964, my opinon....... for that kind of money for a non turbo car? buy yourself an S model 993. the dp cars do look radical and draw a lot of attention, but they are old technology. the S model 993 with the wide rear ends are eye catchers also, they have great performance, 3.6 twin plug heads,6 spd trans, ice cold a/c!!, and lots of other upgrades that come with an S model, also a great investment due to low production numbers. test drive each, you'll understand. good luck
