'89 964 - What is correct R-12 Charge?
Just had A/C recharged. Tech couldn't find definitive charge, so he assumed 29 oz, based on other P-car model around same time. After replacing schrader valves, evacuating and holding good vacuum, determined system was in good shape. Recharged with R-12 successful with nice, cold A/C. 1 week later, no A/C - now miserable in black car . . . Any thoughts on troubleshooting or recommendations? He did not inspect evap. Is it reasonably easy to access? I left my factory A/C volume 700 miles away. Any recommendations appreciated! Thanks. Steve

The book says 930 grams of R-12, and 100cc +/- 20 of Densoil in compressor. Hope that helps.
