(Whoops ... I originally posted this question to the 911 forum not noticing there is this forum for 964 questions.)
I'm looking at buying a 964 with color code "L37W UA" on the bonnet sticker. The exterior is indeed Midnight Blue, but I need help deciphering the "UA", which I understand is a combination code for all colors inside. The interior has been re-upholstered at some point, so I cannot tell what the original color was, but the dash is a bright blue (Cobalt Blue?), the steering wheel is light grey, and the seats appear to be white with grey beading. This seems (and looks) a bit weird! How do I decode the UA to confirm that the seats, dash and steering wheel are original? Many thanks! |

The "UA" does not map to a specific color code, rather it is a combination of all the various 3-digit interior color codes of this specific car. It is pretty hard to work backwards, but I seem to recall that there is a web site that can do it.

Thanks very much Kris: that confirms my impression.
If anyone has a pointer to the decoding information, it would be much appreciated! |
