Help with shifting problems
My 1994 3.6 Turbo was shifting fine. I drove it on a short trip popped it out of gear and when I tried to shift back into gear to drive it would not connect with any gear. The shifter moves freely throught it's range and will not hit any gear. It must be something simple. There was no noise or any sign that anything was going wrong. It worked just fine one minute and didn't work at all another.
What could it be? Where do I start? Does anyone have diagrams or photos of how to check the shifter likage on these?

Update, it appears to have the regular amount of resistance moving side to side but much less than the regular amount of resistance moving back and forth. Does this help?
