Newbie here...exhaust, brake, spoiler ???
thanks in advance to all who answer.....
ok...been driving an '02 911 CAB C4 for 18 mos, she is speed yellow with 35k miles (13k are mine)....I like the car but don't love it....1st and only mod was to put on chromed OEM turbo rims.... now, if I don't sell it (just posted her FS btw), I want to know what I can do to make me love her again..... 1st question is about upgrading the exhaust ...what are my options....who is the best (sound, quality, hp boost, etc).... 2nd question...dustless brake pads....who makes the best, where can I get them.... 3rd question...spoiler....I want/need a spoiler to help make her feel better about herself....what are my options for the C4 CAB....anyone know of a list of pics....i know this can get expensive....so I probably want to go the used route here..... thanks again....mellowyellow....(chemdata1@aol.com)... |

1. Fabspeed makes a great set of mufflers.
2. Dustless brake pads - good luck, let me know when you find some. 3. GT-3 wing or factory aerokit. AFJ

This is a "I don't like my girlfriend anymore, if I can't dump here, which Plastic surgeon should we see?" kind of question.
Did you ever love the car? If so, what's changed? Why did you buy it? What do you want out of it? If changing the appearance of the car will help, look at the MA Shaw or Getty Designs catalog. As for me, I'd spend the money on suspension upgrades to improve the feel/handling of the car first. If you need a little more, exhaust/cat bypass will give her a different sound. You could also drill the airbox. Brake pads - that's a tough one - OEM bads are usually the best compromise. Watch those Chromed rims. Some have a bad habit of developing a slow lead right before they crack.
