993 wheel fitments

i've been working on 993 wheel fitments at my Wheel page As usual, looking for feed back and other wheels that you have used. Besides bead width and o/s, things like overall wheel width, overall tire section width, ride height and issues are appreciated.

Also, my car is so low that I would have to remove the wheels to measure the horizontal distance from the lips to the chassis wall, I'm lazy today, Any one have a car that they can get those numbers from?

Any one else think that the graphics are too big?

Good stuff!

Maybe a little big. Also, you should use .gif not .jpg and the lines/text will be sharper.

Also, what about interference between the wheel and spring seat or spring? Test fitting the 968 17x7.5x65mm fronts the inside rim slightly broke the cylinder of the spring-space. Whether it would rub or not depends on how the spring coils come together, but it was a close one.

I'll try the .gif thing, getting time to measure all the detail is going to have to wait.

yes becase there is too little o/s, I want to stick to what works. If you can get it to work w/ spacers i'll add.

The size thing is puzzling to me, if you go to the wheel page it's ok. Something going on here that I don't have a handle on yet.

Here, there is no html forcing it into a particular size. Here, it is actual size. On your site, the image tag is telling it to scrunch the (first) pic to 893wx552h.

Works fine with 7mm H&R spacers. Also, since they're 17s, the wheel is 1/2" closer to the center, which matters for clearance with the slanted spring.
