For a 97 993, what is a "comfortable" max width for rims, tires, and what should the rim offsets (ET) be?
All the better if you happen to know the maker of such wheels.. Thx Al S

on a n/b 993 8 & 10 are very comfortable fits and work really well, you can go to 9 & 11 but it gets pretty tight when the car is low.
lots of wheel info here, scroll down for 993 stuff there is quite a bit of leeway w/ 8 & 10 but factory 8 = 52mm ET, factory 10 = 65mm ET
