go to www.obd-2.com, you can down load the software and purchase the hardware for around $ 150.00. This software/hardware works really well in accessing the obd codes and clearing them. hope this helps

I had an Autoenginuity PC based tool - worked fine.

I just bought a basic Durametric tool with data logging, works faster. Bill's recommended device might be better for you if you have OBD-1 (in Europe).

francastie has a RoW OBD1 car most likely w/ an OBD2 connector(some very early 993 did come through w/ the older round 19pin 964 connector
