Steering wheel options for a 90 C4?

The stitching on my wheel has all but gone. And its ugly..........

What options (Airbag / non-airbag) are available for this car?

Thanks
Sam

Any standard (e.g. Momo) non-airbag wheel will work with the right hub adapter. But then your airbag warning light will go off unless you put in a resistor in the harness. And if it is a street car, you just as well might want to keep the airbag wheel.

Usually you can find someone making a track car from a 964 more than happy to sell you their airbag wheel.

You could have it recovered. I've read good things about this service but haven't done it myself.

I would suggest that you try taking it to a sporting goods repair shop to have it fixed. There is one in clagary that does much of the NHL players' pads and equipment - Done Right Sports - they do excellent work for reasonable prices. I'm going to hve them sharpen my skates tomorrow - I'll ask if they would do steering wheels.

There's a guy that posts on the 911Tech board that redoes steering wheels, he posted pics over there and its a sweet job he does. Go there and search, was posted in last month or so.

I put the 930 Wheel on my 74 and it added HP too!

I went with an Aitwe Wheel from AJ-USA. It's the same wheel RUF sells. Here's a link to a pic:
