Where can I find a shift knob for my 964 ???

The previous owner of my '64 replaced the stock knob with an aftermarket Momo knob. I want to go back to a stock knob (light grey) or aftermarket aluminum knob, but I can't find anything out there. I've tried Performance Products, Pelican Parts, Tweeks, Vertex, and Parts Heaven... but the pickins is slim for 964s. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

If you've tried your dealer and they can't help, try Gert Carnewal. http://www.carnewal-europe.com/main.htm

I see them every month or two on eBay, but the color varies.

What is about the Momo that you don't like? Are you just trying to keep everything stock, or want the dust boot?

From a performance perspective, the stock knob is a limp noodle compared to a Momo.

The Momo knob does have a good feel to it... but it's the wrong color - black. The majority of my interior is light grey. Additionally, I have aluminum pedals and will soon have aluminum door handles. I think either a light grey or aluminum knob would look best with these items. I'll keep an eye on eBay. Thanks.

Tom - I tried the dealer. They're asking $205 for the stock knob/boot combo. I'll keep that option in mind. Thanks.

You did not mention whether a boot was required. If not, Momo makes many silver knobs, for example:

kurquhart - where might I find these Momo knobs? Did you find them on eBay?

ebenke - is your extra grey knob the stock knob? Maybe you could send me a picture?

I grabbed those pictures off of Amazon, but many online stores sell them. For the complete catalog, visit the Momo site: http://www.momo.it/. Find the one you like and then Google for the best price.

I just pulled this grey one off my car in July. It's used but in decent shape, there are a couple of wear marks at the knob edges.

It's an OEM piece, I replaced it when I bought the car. A new one is $235.00.

I'll sell this one for $90.00 plus actual shipping.

Ebenke - my interior is actually a much lighter grey. It's almost white. This won't work.

Thanks just the same.
