Stuttering/Shudder in reverse
Hi.
I am experiencing a very strange stuttering after finishing my 30mile drive home from work. where we stay is on a steep hill and when i arrive and park the 964 with the clutch fully depressed the engine seems to shudder as if its close to stalling...........any ideas? Thanks bryan |

I am not too sure, i can try and check it out..........not owned car for long. could this be part of the problem?
Not always happening, just noticed a few times recently. |

i had a ford once and put a 20 lbs flywheel and a real high performance clutch....way too much for the engine.....and it did just that in reverse only.....guess the clutch was catching and releasing over and over

normally that shuttering means the flywheel needs resurfacing. will show up on reverse first before fwd gears.
