Neat! I have one my kids got me before I got the 87 carrera. It's a 993, so there was some predictive power...

Does that mean there's a GT1 in my future?

Hey Bill, in the upper left is a plain, narrow 993 right? Is that from UT? I'd love to find a black one.

The yellow one in the top right is a base 993 from Burago circa 1994

Hi, its made by a Japanese company called Marushin. Once in a great while, you'll see a piece or 2 pop up on Ebay. Marushin had long been out of business (since mid 90's) and they're only making air guns now.
If you do a google on "Marushin Porsche 2.7" you will find some cool video on how this model functions. Happy hunting!

Cool. Some on Ebay right now. Listed as a 1993 model for some reason. I thought ROW 993s started in '94?

Just got the Burago. I notice that the rear wing is extended and there doesn't seem to be a way to lower it without permanently trimming the metal and gluing it in the down position. Bill (or anyone else with a Burago 993), is yours that way too? If it's lowered, how does it fit?

Thanks!

ok, I'll play, the 911-GT1 98's are signed by McNish, Ortelli, Muller and Wollek,
The BMW V12-LMR is signed by Muller, Kristensen, and Lehto.
The FINA McLaren is signed by Lehto and Soper.
RS Spyder by Maassen and Luhr.
Toyota GT-One by McNish
Mercedes CLK and DTM cars by Franchitti and Schneider,
Maeylander and Gounon
935 by Ludwig, larger CLK by Zonta, 962s by Stuck and Sullivan
R8 by McNish, Pirro, Kristensen and Biele and Capello
Gulf McLaren by Lehto and Weaver
Hagenuk Joest Spider by Alboreto, Kristensen and Johansson

Lousy pictures, first 2 are of the 6' tall 'sportscar' case, last 2 are of the 6' tall 'F1' case with some signed by Alesi, Prost, Berger, Boutsen, Blundell, Wendlinger,Herbert,....etc

isn't the ALMS great ? all our heros from other series or coming up in sportscars can be found...

I can't wait for Petit LeMans, Peugeot just announced they're coming, 1 car at Sebring, 3 at LeMans with a bunch of F1 refugees.... I think Audi's streak is about to be over....

play
