Has anyone installed a RSD (Rear seat delete) from a Cab into a Coupe?
I have the opportunity to purchase a mint Rear Seat Delete kit (RSD) from a Cab to install into my Coupe.
Has anyone done the same? My concern is how it fits into the Coupe. Is there unsightly gaps on the sides and rear of the RSD where it meets the Coupe's interior panels? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and pictures. Bob |

This is a mint rear seat delete:
Just kidding. ![]() What year is your coupe? I know the rear shock towers were lowered in 92 to accommodate the stowed top (on coupes, too), but I'm not sure if this impacted the interior panels.

So, if you use the Cab RSD you will have a large gap on each side. I guess I could make a filler piece and carpet it, but that is my last resort. Is this clear? I've attached a picture of one unit from a 964 Cab. THanks for any info. ![]() |
