Hippo set out to play
My misfire CEL was getting worse (more cylinders, happening sooner) so after going through my own diagnostic list - supported by Tyson, Steve Weiner and Laura Hergesheimer - I dropped by S-Car-Go last week to confirm what I thought: Failing Dual Mass Flywheel. Fortunately for me, Rob had a barely-used RS kit in stock, so in the Hippo it went.
Went out with Hooked on Driving at Thunderhill on Thursday and Friday. Was mainly coaching novice drivers, but was able to get the girl out for a few demo rides and hot laps: ![]() After a great two days, the Hippo got a much needed bath. She still cleans up nice:

Looks super Don!, So how do you like the new clutch? Just out of curiosity do you have the part # for the friction disc used?

Thanks. Unfortunately I don't have the p/n - came as a kit listing. If it is important I can ask SCarGo.
Clutch seems fine - a little grabbier than the old one; the original clutch (70K) was within about 5K of being done.
