Big Trouble! Both hood release cables are broken, any ideas? HELP!!!
I have no idea how I'm going to get the hood open to repair the main and emergency release cables. The main release cable has come loose and the emergency release cable broke off.
Is there any other way to getting into the trunk to replace the release cables?? |

Well, that's a challenge.
In theory, the design is supposed to release the hood if the cable breaks. There are multiple suggestions on the main board if you search on "stuck hood" There's a factory procedure to remove the front bumper, could you indicate your car year and your location in your profile?

I looked through my 964 and 993 workshop manuals and did not find anything - it should be there though. Suggest calling a dealer...
