964 current draw - Disconnect alarm
My '92 964 was killing the battery. Determined that disconnecting the alarm module under the passenger seat, the current went down from 800 ma to 10 ma. Swapped in a different alarm module, and I get 100 ma.
I think 100 ma is still too much. Any ideas? Does anyone know how to remove the alarm module, and still start the car? |

Up to 110 ma is acceptable. Go through the trouble shooting section of Adrian Streather's 964 book for full information on current drain.
Check the alternator output, you need to see at least 13.5v, any less may cause battery problems.
