source for rebuilt PS racks for a 964 (965 actually)

Ok, PS rack leaking out both ends: time to replace: suggestions on decent pricing??

Rebuilt PS Racks

A quick look at the exploded parts drawing shows no picture of seals on the steering shafts. Perhaps you could look at yours as it comes out to see if the seals are replaceable a la' DIY.

If a 993 rack fits, check with Noah on Rennlist / Pelican. I believe he may have one for sale in Virginia.

My rack appears to be leaking at both ends: both sides of my belly pan are equally wet from fluid.

I do have about an 1/8" of free-play in my steering wheel, with a audible (with accompanying vibration) "tick" as you turn the wheel: not sure what that is...haven't investigated.

Mark (I'll check on the 993, might fit, might not, hard to guess)

I just re did mine and have to say there are a lot of cheep rebuilds.
I ordered mine from EUROEAST in MI. 964.347.009DX ZF Reman steering rack.
I also got the Tie Rod Ends, Boots, Bushing, and Hollow Bolt/Washer Set.

964.347.009DX Rack
