Let me see 964 front splitters

Can you post pics of 964 front splitters? I'm building a Euro Carrera RS/RSA look car which will have the rear RSA spoiler and am searching for a nice front splitter.

Thanks in advance!

Does it really help at higher speed (100+) when you have a fixed rear wing?

That's a good enough reason right there!

I think it's a Rennspeed front splitter. Had to balance it with a GT1 wing....

Agreed on the kinesis. I dont think there are too many splitters out there. None with a major difference anyway

This is what I'm getting from FVD, and I have a replica RSA wing from MA Shaw:

Looks aside, here's a relevant question that I haven't been able to find the answer to: What are the downforce values for the RSA wing and the OEM 3.8 RS, TechArt and FVD splitters?

Is anyone running this setup with telemetry who would be kind enough to share with us this information?

I'm curious to know if a) the front splitter makes a difference on the nose lifting in corners, and b) if the RSA wing is sufficient to counter it, or whether it needs to have the full-on 3.8 RS wing to do so.

Don't have any hard evidence. Although I can say that I did notice an increase in front end stability with the Factory 3.8RS splitters when added to my turbo. Mostly at high speed.

I put the RSA tail on my C2 just before VIR last year and had the tech art splitter and factory pop up tail before. The addition of the RSA tail made a considerable difference over the stock electric one. If you know VIR when approaching the top of the back straight just at the crest my back end used to get all lose and squirmy before now it feels very stable and planted. I also noticed that the car was much more stable through the turns. I am thinking about changing my tech art splitter to the rennspeed splitter. I know of several people that have them and they say it makes a major improvement. Although they are running either turbo or 3.8RS wings. I would think the renspeed splitter would be most effective with the larger tail. As far as the RSA tail I think you should be fine with the tech art or 3.8RS splitters but I would add a degree of downward slope to the front end.

Cobalt - Interesting observation about the RSA tail vs. the electro-tail...

I'm not familiar with VIR, but I looked up this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6ALKkHa3w8 , and I think you're referring to the crest right before T14 (around 2:08 mins into the video).

This turn is similar (though you're carrying more speed) to T12 on the circuit that I track at (http://www.trackpedia.com/wiki/Sepang_International_Circuit), which you can see about 2:01 mins into this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QVLzaYxqPo .

T12 for us is a descending lefthand corner which I'm usually into 4th for before the turn-in, and in the C4 you have to lift ever-so slightly to avoid massively understeering into the gravel trap. It is here where I get a little bit of that rear end waver that you mentioned, so I am keen to see if the RSA tail solves that issue.

Anymore pictures of your car? I have the GT912 spoiler, and was going to sell it because I thought it'd be too much spoiler for a NB. Your picture is making me give it second thoughts though.

Some More Pics

Some more pics. Don't own those Kinesis. They looked really good. Was test fitting them and trying to convince a buddy to sell them to me. Have been on CupIIs but just picked up some Fikses. Getting rid of flag mirrors this week!
