newbie question on missing knobs
just picked up a 90 C4 for my old man and we're beginning to sort it. There are a few missing interior pieces. One is on top of the driver door trim up by the fixed glass. I would think this is the exterior mirror switch. Correct? or is it the door lock?
the second missing part is just below a square button on the dash that looks like it is for recirc/fresh air. I am missing the lower button. Thoughts/comments?

The switch near on the door trim near the fixed glass is for the outside mirrors. Mine was missing when I got my car. Not sure exactly which is the other switch you mention. Is it on the climate control unit?

yeah.. the missing square button is on the climate control unit. The top butt seems to look like an air recirc icon. maybe the lower is fresh air?
BTW, where does one get an owners manual for 964? It took me 20 minutes to figure out where the sunroof toggle was. My 69 does not have so many switches. ![]()

I'm sure you could get a manual from Pelican Parts?
You can buy the buttons for the aircon unit, but you have to buy the top and bottom button at the same time as they're actually part of the same unit. Pretty easy to replace too once you've slid the climate control unit out and removed the front cover. Someone with a PET diagram of the Climate Control unit should be able to get you the part number.
