Removing distributor connector: idle
Should the idle change, even momentarily, when the connector is removed from the distributor?

I don't think so cause it only advance it on vaccum at mid-high rpm (at least it didn't in my old renault and my old sentra)

I dont think that the Renault and Sentra work the same way as the 964. Vacuum doesn't enter into the equation on the 964. I believe that on the 964 with the connector removed the DME RETARDS the timing for all cylinders.
Could someone with 964 knowledge respond.? |
