Running new speaker wires
How difficult is it to run new wires from the deck to under the passenger seat?
I'm replacing the CD-2 with an Alpine I own. I have the female connectors for those old DIN connectors so I can plug my patch cord into the speaker wires under the seat (once unplug from the amp). However the car is so well "screwed together" seems it might be hard to sneak the new wires to the amp location. As it's pretty much unmolested (35K), I'd like to maintain as much of the fit and finish as possible. Understand the seat comes right out with 6 bolts. I was hoping to use the tunnel on the rocker panel side that already has wires running through it. Maybe? Alternatives? Yes, yes, I'm a lurker. Only had the car 18 months, intro coming. Thanks |

There's a fair amount of foam under the carpets, should make running wires very easy.
