??? Paint color number needed

Hi, I have a 1991 Carrera 2 CAB, 964, thats needs some paint work. Is the paint code listed anywhere on the body. It is RED but I do not know the name or number of the color. Any help would be great!! Thanks

The paint code should be found in two places inside the front trunk.

1) On the option code sticker on the bottom side of the hood, it will be in larger type near the middle of the sticker. The pre-fix 'Lack Nmr.' will appear before it.

2) The other location will be on either the inside left or right front fender area. Typically right above where the batterey is located. Pull back the carpet and look ahead of the shock tower.

If the car is the "typical" Porsche Red that would be:
Guards Red: 80K
That would have originally been a single stage paint. (When you polish the car the rag gets red as you go).

Other reds that year were,

Korallen Red 82H

Asterik Ruby 82N

Rasberry Red 83E

Zyclamen Pearl LZ3T

I use PaintScratch Touch-Up Paint (rs), Spray Cans, Spray Paint, Paint Pens, Car Paint, Automotive Paint
as a reference.

You can cross check paint codes and order from a local paint supplier...or directly from paintscratch.

Good luck with your touch-up.
