964 Reference Books

Greetings all,

Having sold my 3.2L coupe, I am expecting delivery of a 1993 C2 Coupe next week. I had found the Bentley manual an indispensable resource for the 1988, but the 964 Enthusiast's Companion is a *little* short on technical details.

Any info on what you use and how well you like it will be greatly appreciated.

TIA for your help,

Phil

Phil,

I have the "Enthusiast Manual." While it has a lot of non-technical info, it still has enough to help with maintenance and small repair. I also have the CD that the other post offered to send you. With the CD, the manual, and the Porsche parts manual, I can fix just about anything on my 964. I also rely on the tech forum for help, which has been very good.

Regards,

Steve

My mistake, wrong Ryan. I've sourced a set of used RS springs, and front struts and bought a set of rear struts from EShock. Also replacing front bushes with harder ones, new rotors, rebuild calipers, new side oil lines. Looking for some dual purpose seats, and roll bar, and Brembo rear calipers. Got the aluminum floorboards and pedals from my wifes 964. Plan on relocating the short shifter up-wards to illuminate the box on the bottom of the pan. Biggest challenge was getting the car through state emissions but all good now.
Lots to do between now and Mid Ohio in May.
