90 C2 in AZ Desert

Here are some shots of my 90 C2 taken late afternoon. Just installed H&R shocks/springs, aero mirrors, Recaro SRDs, RS interior, Cup Car wheels (8+9.5x17).

Looks fantastic!

Changing seat probably took out close to 75+ lbs.
How does the Bils/HR suspension change feel?

Enjoy your car.

Udo:

The SRD seats are lighter (manual), and the rear seats, door panels all probably add up to 75 lbs reduction. The shocks/springs are a 'coil-over' system by H&R (offered by our host), and so far they feel nice. I have not 'thrashed' the car yet, so I don't know how it will handle. It certainly isn't too stiff for comfortabl street use though.

Beautiful!

Are you going to paint the headlight trim body color?

Dan:

I still have the body color surrounds.....I just like the black ones better. Porsche used this trim feature on their more competition-oriented 911s over the years.

It looks great. I just bought a 1990 Guards Red C2 and am considering doing the RS interior on mine too. Have you weighed the car?

Here's mine

In post #12 it looks like your 964 still has a small frown in the front. You should spend some time to straighten it. Car still looks great!

Greg:

I have not weighed the car. I have probably removed approx. 75-80 lb by changing the factory seats out for manual Recaro SRDs, removing the rear seats and replacing the carpet with black RS felt, and door panels with RSA style. The black RS interior changes the whole character of the car....and I am very happy with it.

Thanks for the link...I will make sure the 'frown' goes away.
