Opinions on Aftermarket Evaporators???

Hello - Good news today finding out have to replace my evaporator!!!

I'm just curious the differences in OE vs aftermarket? I've now seen one from Griffiths that cost more but tout big plusses but then ones from ACM and Air Products significantly less. It looks like Air Products is copper and ACM is aluminum which I'm guessing original is aluminum since it's lighter...

Any strong feeling about these brands because as my AC guy put it, he's seen problems with OE, problems with supposed better aftermarket, and also problems with budget aftermarket. I'm definitely not trying to get cheap but I also do not believe that just because something is more expensive, it is better either!

I can't comment on Griffiths' 993 evaporator but I did use his 911 version in my former car. The quality level looked high to me and my mechanic got Griff on the phone quickly to answer a question during the installation. I was satisfied with the product (purchased through our host, of course).
