Clock no tick toc
Man am I thankfull for the information provided by the great people in this forum. OK, I have a 1990 C2. The clock stopped working. I took it out and did a visual, looked like the ground, (small connector), was kinda weak so I re-soldered it. Clock does still not work. Does one of you fellas know what wire(s) power that clock? I don't think I'm getting power to it. I have already checked fuses/relays/etc. Thanks very much.

Jeff,
If I'm not mistaken, Pin #30 is Power, Pin# 31 is Ground, Pin #1 illuminates the clock, and the single large pin gets grounded via the adjuster switch to advance the time. Andreas |
1990 964 clock
If you decide to have your clock repaired, I can recommend an excellent guy in Atlanta. His prices are reasonable and his turn around is outstanding. Hamp's Speedometer Repair. Phone is 770.777.1919.
No affiliation other than he has repaired my speedometer and clock. |
Thanks very much gentlemen. I will check for power/proper ground at those spots and use the Atlanta fella to repair it if I can not get it figured out.
