Rear spoiler stuck in up position

My 95 993 has a rear spoiler that is stuck in the up position. I have tried the switch in the car and nothing. The fuse is fine.

Looking for any advise before I tear into it!

Mine jammed in the up position because I ignored the grinding sound and the bearing in the drive was trashed, and the fuse did not blow..

Disconnect the cable drive and see if it moves..sometimes the screws securing it back out and jam it..

You should replace the bearing in the drive transmission...porsche did not use a sealed bearing and it will fail....its not that difficult and the part is about five bucks
