Disassembling and painting 2piece wheels
I'm searching but not finding info on disassembling and painting 2piece wheels such as these. Looks like I'm not the only one interested.
Any helpful hints/ideas? Unbolt, prep, paint, dry, torque evenly to spec? What is spec? ![]()

Well, for those who will inevitably follow, here is something I found:
"The wheels are 2 piece. Remove all the bolts, warm the outer rim with a couple of 1000 w hair dryers and they will separate. " Apparently it is difficult to separate the pieces just by unbolting them. It is a start. Some folks suggest the fasteners can be reused, some say no. I don't know what the torque specs should be for BBS classic IIs.

Actually, this is my car, I came to the conclusion it was easier to put back the turbo wheels on it... I sold the BBS...
