Removing the oem audio system
Can I remove the entire OEM audio system on my 1991 C2? meaning the radio and the amplifier under the passenger seat without any issues with the other systems on the car?

Yes and no. The head unit in the dash may be tied into the alarm system - see "Green Wire Syndrome". I say "maybe" because apparently not all radios were connected to the car alarm. There are multiple threads covering this topic. Other than the alarm, the unit(s) are self contained and can be removed w/o any issue.
It obviously goes w/o saying that you want to disconnect the battery before your rip the stuff out.....
