acceleration sensor help needed please!

well after fixing my abs ecu i hooked up the durametric scan tool to pull any fault codes causing my loss of abs and traction control.

when i hooked up i got

code 42
fault condition 16 front/rear acceleration sensor
short circuit/line break fault code 42

code 12
fault condition 2 lateral acceleration sensor
short circuit/break in circuit code 11

anybody know what these codes mean and where i should check for the failure . i am interpreting a loss of signal from accelerometers or broken wire somewhere......It was working fine and then i went on holidays for 2 weeks and it was left parked outdoors at a shop with some torrential down pours.I picked up the car with dead battery and check engine light on and abs/pdas lights on.had to boost vehicle to get car home. Now i am left with this issue.I originally thought it might be the abs ecu but i figure if i was able to pull codes it must be functioning.tried erasing the codes with scanner but they return right away.
