Curious about this setup
I was talking w/ a nice couple w/ a beautifully prepped 914 w/ '95 993 engine/915 trans at a DE at LRP yesterday and noticed this setup. Owner is not an engine guy but said that AFA he knew this is to compensate for idle issues w/ the l/w flywheel. I've never seen anything like it before and am curious if anyone knows anything about it
