How does the water get into my tail lights?
My left rear tail light on my '91 C4 keeps filling with water. I just replaced it with a new factory unit , connected all of the hoses and it still gets water inside. What gives? Anyone else had to solve this problem?
I have noticed that when driving in the wet, water from the wheel well leaks out around the light and runs down the bumper cover. I haven't yet had time to tear into this area, just wondering if someone elase has already dealt with this. Thanks in advance! Louie

If you take the lens out (simple, two phillips head screws) and drill a small hole in the bottom of the offending compartment it will allow the lens to drain.
I had this same issue on my 1993 C2 and now it's fine. TGL 1969 911S 1993 C2 lightweight |

I assume that the rubber seals are in place around the lenses??
