Need help with wire bundle associated with pollen filter change

Hello folks,

This is my first post. I ran into a little trouble last night while following the DIY for the pollen filter change. I didn't have me reading glasses on and I inadvertently separated the wiring harness on the passenger side at the wrong place. The wires on the lower side of the plug housing came out of the housing. I tried my best to document which color wire went where by prying off the cap on the other side of the plug housing and carefully examining the intact side of harness, but I'm only about 85% sure that I got it right. Everything seems to work except my cigarette lighter and I didn't smell anything when I turned on the ignition...

I am hoping that someone can post the wiring diagram for that plug or at a minimum, tell me what that bundle of wires is for.

Thanks so much.

I've got PDF's of the 964 wiring loom, from what I found out when fixing my HVAC a year ago, the 964 and 993 HVACs are very similar, but...was it an HVAC harness you disconnected? They may still be of help, you can probably work out which plug/harness you inadvertently disconnected, along with pin numbers and wire colours?

At the back of the loom section, IIRC, there's a table and diagram showing connector locations in the car, making identification a lot easier.

PM me if you want them, I can email it to you if it helps?

I appreciate the help. I do not think that the wire loom was for the HVAC however, because the only symptoms that something is wrong are that my (aftermarket) sterio is coming on, but the speakers are hardly working and the cigarette lighter blew the 25 amp. fuse. The location of the connector is directly on top of the passenger side pollen filter (I don't think that the 964 has the same filter set up?) I will try to trace the wires and get back to you.

Again, thanks Todd
