Phase 10: sunroof

Just picked the car up from Automobile Associates where they did a fantastic job replacing the sunroof roof w/ an SC non sunroof roof, a new welded in rollbar and some cosmetics to the interior were done at the same time

They also tracked down a pesky vacuum leak that was costing me a bunch of hp

Love the Perlon headliner! That's exactly what I want to do to my car...

That's fantastic Bill! Love the perlon headliner, much nicer than my vinyl nightmare. I think the HP gain is the real present.

nice roof.
vacuum leaks sneak up on you, the car jus felt a little flat on the top end and I was loosing cars on the straights that I used to pass even though entry speeds were up.

I do have a "hammer' but it doesn't like the chip I use(among other things) so I have given up using it. The dash light !throws codes for so many other things that I just ignore it. The car is so far from stock that the codes that are thrown are worthless, I should probably swap the RoW DME into it that is currently in my silver car, the US DME is expecting all sorts of things that the RoW motor and strpped interior don't have

Not a clue, I didn't even know that there was a difference.

The rear window is the original w/ new seals, the front window is all new

Ah, I see what you mean now. They retained the stock 993 rear widow/seals and roof trailing edge.

Both windows had tin worm at their bases, the seals obviously weren't working as intended.

No, it's like making sausage, not something I care to watch.
