Modified condition or stock more desireable
Which would be more desireable, quicker to sell and go for mre money? At present I have the front and rear spoiler on the car but have everything to put back to original.

The more you customize something exactly the way you like it, the more of a departure from the product that appealed to thousands when released. I've never found the wing to be an appealing aspect of non turbo 911, but have friends who love them. From a buyers viewpoint I would be looking for one closer to stock.

I personnaly prefer the spoiler but the majority of the people prefer stock. It will be quicker to sell without spoiler.
Nice car by the way! |

Unless you have a future use for the items offer the car as it sits with the replacement parts. That let's the future owner decide how he would like to configure it. It also gives you more pricing options. The mods you have are all reversible and you have the original parts, an attractive and non-limiting position.

Most prospective buyers are looking for originality.

Personally, as someone who is shopping at the moment, like something pretty unmolested. That being said as long as its something I can change with minimal effort AND you have the stock parts to put on, I would sell it as is with the parts included. That way if someone digs the look they can recoup some money by selling off the OEM stuff or if they don't like it they can recoup by selling off the aftermarket stuff. It makes plopping down a large chunk of money a little easier when you know you can get some back!

You are in a good position having kept the stock parts. Advertise as-is and offer to return to stock or some variation to any potential buyer. You can save yourself the hassle of doing the work unless someone specs it to be stock. Personally, I don't mind modded 911s as long as they are tastefully done (no be big wings, crazy paint schemes, big chrome wheels, etc). But taste is subjective which is why it is safer to sell a car in stock condition and let the prospective buyer mod it as they see fit. Good luck with your sale.

Stock or Not
I think that ounce you start to modify a car you might as well go all the way. I love to build stuff for my car but that's just me. I do not think I would want someone else's mods.
I would consider stuff like exhaust, rims, suspension a plus but things like roll cages or roll bars and fiber glass body a minus. I have a 964 and I have a stock engine lid, a lid with a movable spoiler, and a RS America lid with a fixed spoiler and I use them all.

Ps
I think their are very few 100 percent stock Porsche out their and most people who say they want a 100 percent stock car don't really know what they want. A large part of owning a 911 is making it "yours".
imo

I find unmolested cars more attractive to buy with a few exceptions. Very tastefully done mods along with my goals or well developed and proven race cars. I like your car better stock but it is clearly a nice one either way.

Thank you everybody for your comments. It seems that most prefer stock. So far I removed the front spoiler and installed the stock one. Removed the bumper air ducts which included installing the stock fog lights and the black bumperetts and changed out the front lights from clear to stock amber. I really like the rear wing and am undecided on that.
