Replacing leather around ignition key
Picked up a 993, just tidying some worn spots.
The leather around the ignition key is a worn, and a replacement was cheap enough from Sonnen. What is the best way to remove the leather ring and replace? thanks, Mike

A leather ignition surround was an option available if one had ordered the full leather package.
There is a small indent (hole) in the surround that if you place a tool into will be easily removed if rotated counter-clockwise. I've replaced my leather surround with a plastic one and am quite happy with that but if you contact someone who works in leather, they might be able to replicate what your car had originally. Regards, .

Aaaa. Thank you for clarifying. I figured it is the ignition bezel but never seen or heard of one in leather. Must be a rare option.
