Problem with ignition control module 964 3.6
Good morning friends. I come from Spain.
I am holder 2 Porsche 964. One of them is the 3.6 Turbo model. Well, we are finishing the project, has painted full length, all hardware purchased in Porsche, all the hoses, wiring, Bilstein suspension, 997 seats, exhaust system, new turbo etc. It is a comprehensive project, but we can not continue as we lack the ignition control module (Reference 965 602 706 02). We have the 3.3 turbo module, but this model had 320cv and the 3.6 has 360. It is impossible to find the module to buy online, or ebay, or forums, or scrap, or Porsche, or bosch. My question is, can modify the 3.3 turbo to get the same values? Is there any other brand equivalent module? It's a shame, because there is little to end, but without the original module'm afraid that the car does not have 100% power. Thank you very much to all who pass very good day. Diegumball. |
I answered your post over on Reenlist the same way, give Turbo Kraft : Home a try, and see what they can do for you.

Don't waste your time with a used one, they are old electrical and have sat in the engine compartmet since 1993 they can and will go out ant any time. New ones are NLA
I had one go out and I replace it with a electromotive XDI2 Ignition : Clewett Engineering, The complete solution for ignition & fuel injection send clewett your front pulley he will attach a 36-2 toothed wheel and you can get rid of your distributor, coild and EZ-69 You will be able to tune the spark curve, MAP , conrol rev limit , add knock control, control things like a pierburg change over valve all with the XDI-2 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930-turbo-super-charging-forum/767012-forced-deal.html http://forums.pelicanparts.com/911-930-turbo-super-charging-forum/720405-disscetion-ez-69-a.html |
Mistake
" send clewett your front pulley he will attach a 36-2 toothed wheel and you can get rid of your " should say 62-2 |
