Door lock problem, please help!

Hi Folks,
I have a 90 C2 Cab and recently the alarm and the door lock is acting up on me. I have an old Viper system that hooks up to the power door lock system of the car. It used to be that I press once on the cliker and the door locks pops up and unlock the doors. Now,, the door locks is not responding and I can not lock and unlock the driver's side door from the out side. From the inside, I can manually lock and unlock the door. I was wondering if someone can tell me the location of the power door lock relays or fuse?. I tried to look in the fuse box but I cannot find it. I was hoping that the fuse or relays is the problem as I don't want to spend the money on a new alarm system. Thank you for all your help. Best, Andrew

If I have said this once, I've said it more then several times;
The only alarm worth having is the factory FITTED one.
The numerous problems aftermarket alarms cause just pxxxxxs me off!

You will probably find that a poor connection somewhere is causing the problem. First of all you need to have the wiring diagram for the alarm and know where all the components are fitted..that's where the fun starts. We had a 911 where the door closing relays were SILICONE glued into the lh door by the crash bar..guess how long that took to find? We don't work on aftermarket alarms or radio installations..and just don't get me started on that one.... Good luck

Thanks for the tip Britwrench. I have found the brain of the alarm system and it looks like it has a lot of corrosion. I took out the brain out of the system and yet the door locks wont respond to the key from the outside. The weird thing is that with the brain out the alarm still goes off when the passenger door is opened. Where can I find the factory alarm system?, and how much does it cost, anybody knows?. Thanks. Andrew
