checking on a 993 vario ram engine it has some bad valve guides any idea what some good used heads may cost and labor costs to do the work thanks for any info slammin

Just have the heads rebuilt, call Steve Weiner at Rennsport Systems if you want to DIY and ship the heads somewhere or locally Tom Florio at Advanced Auto in New Windsor if you are in the southern end of the valley or Rick Dobush at R&D in Albany

You can also head east into Ct for Dan Jacobs at Hairydog garage

I had new guides inserted into my heads. Cost was around $100 per head. I would not buy a used head, you have no idea what you are getting into.
