I made similar swap (standalone ECU using factory wiring but with direct ignition) few years ago on bone stock 964 (even had original cats in place).

Dark blue and dark green graphs are with stock ECU (it produced 156 rwkW).
There are number of runs, I left the violet one to ECU as I made the ignition a little bit safer side. This car uses stock catalytic converters.
Results: car made 172 rwKW and 296 rwNm.

ECU looks like this:

Car looks like this (of course the 964 is chasing Cayman):

I usually stick over at R-list... But sweet build my man. I've also thought about doing something with Jenveys and the stock intake plenum. What kind of air filter cone do you have on there? Is it just stuck to the end of your MAF?

Forgot to add... What kind of linkage setup did you go with? Did you just sort of piece together a kit by yourself?

Great build - would you mind sharing the rough cost of the jenvey + plenum intake?

I have PMO ITBs on a 993, with an RSR type cam, and I really regret not going with this type of set-up instead.

Any idea if I could leverage some of the existing PMO linkage to do this?

Shown below is a picture of another engine with the ITB setup and our linkage. We have a custom tee pipe we use for the air intake off of the plenum. No air flow meter or MAF involved in the system. Another picture of our linkage pivot piece with fuel line hookup and OEM 993 fuel pressure regulator in the same piece.

Another picture of a carbon GT3 intake on a 3.6 race engine. Air filter was zip tied to plenum for dyno tests only. Proper clamps were added later.

Duh ... No maf on itb setup. Sorry about the stupid question!

Again, really great looking rig. I talked to Jeff about it last week. So so tempting.

Rothsport has a new short tube version that comes with heat for a 3.6 engine. This uses any dual in muffler for 74 and earlier cars, although we have found the Dansk Sport and Monty mufflers work the best.

What kind of DB readings do you guys typically see at WOT on the long tube/gt3 cup muffler setup?
