964T rear brakes on 993C2?

I have a set of drilled 299x28 rear rotors that came off a 96' 993C2. I realize these are 964T rotors, what would those be doing on the rear of a 993? Is that a common swap?

They are not interchangeable are you sure this is what you have?

Are you sure the calipers on the 993 were original? That seems like a very tight fit (width) on the 993.
